Chapter 19: Treat Her Like A Lady

“You ready?” Seven asked Sincere.

He was posted at her front door. She opened the door and immediately went back upstairs. It took him almost a month to get her to agree to go on a date. Then she only will do lunch, no dinner, but he decided that it will be the best date she ever been on.

“I’m coming,” Sincere yelled as she walked down the stairs.

She wore a pair of jeans, a wife beater and a pair of Tims. Sincere didn’t want to lead Seven on. Right now, she wanted to live the single life. Damn love and those who were in it.

Seven had never seen a woman look sexier. He knew she was a cool chick, but to see her dressed plainly enticed him further.

“I like that look, shorty.” He admitted.

She smiled.

“You don’t look so bad yourself.”

Seven was very handsome in his black Levis’ and black and white Polo striped shirt. Then he had thrown on a pair of Jordan’s to match.

“Aww damn!” Sincere screamed when she saw his car.

“I see you like my ride,” he chuckled.

“I do! I would like it better if you let me drive,” she advised.

Seven shook his head, “No. Maybe later.”

He held the door of his black on black 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible for her to get in.

On the way to Eddie’s Place on Sharon Amity, Seven explained to Sincere how he and Nosakhere met. She, in turn, told him about the bond that she, Nosakhere, and Omni shared. She revealed how they used to raise hell wherever they went. She told him about being the only child and how much she missed her parents. He had learned a few details from Nosakhere about the murder of her parents, but he wanted to hear it from her. When he tried to get her to open up, she changed the subject.

“You must be heavy in the game?” She inquired as she turned on her neckwarmer at the base of the headrest.

Although it was a warm day, the wind was brisk.

Seven laughed.

“Not anymore,” he responded as they pulled into the almost empty parking lot.

He jumped out of the driver side and went to open the door for her.

“You are quite the gentleman.”

“Most days,” he simply replied.

Seven grabbed her hand and walked her to the door.

“I never have been here before. What kind of food do they serve?” Sincere asked as he led her into the building.

“Whatever you want, they have. I promise,” Seven stated.

The duo entered the casual restaurant.

The host, Tiffany, approached them and said, “Mr. Washington, Ms. Taylor, please follow me.”

Sincere squeezed Seven’s hand and whispered, “You famous or something?”

Seven smiled and boasted, “To most people.
